As soon as the Ram temple was consecrated in Ayodhya, fireworks were burst with enthusiasm in Moradabad. Regarding Ramotsav, people have decorated temples across the region along with their houses with colorful fringes and flowers. Along with the city roads, the markets also look saffron. For Ramotsav, all the temples across the district have been decorated with saffron light fringes.
For this, cleaning was being done for many days. As soon as the puja started in the Ram temple, worship and bhajan-kirtan especially started in the local temples. People started coming to the temples for darshan since Monday morning. Along with this, Ramdhun was heard at the intersection. All the government buildings in the district have been beautifully decorated on the lines of national festivals.
As soon as the Ram temple was consecrated in Ayodhya on Monday, there was enthusiasm among the city residents. Everyone around is engrossed in the devotion of Ram. Religious rituals started in temples. Apart from Akhand Ramayana, recitation of Sunderkand, Shri Ram Stuti, Maha Aarti, bhandaras have been organized. Saffron flags are flying everywhere on the roads.
Due to this the aura of the city looks beautiful. Various religious and social organizations are also celebrating this festival with enthusiasm. In connection with the event, apart from markets, establishments and houses, all the intersections in the entire city have been decorated with banners, posters, archways, skirtings etc. Bhajan Kirtans were held at 84 Ghanta Temple, Jharkhandi Mahadev Temple, Radhakrishna Temple Delhi Road, Mahakaleshwar Dham Temple New Moradabad.
Apart from this, the festival was celebrated in all the temples of the city including Ancient Shiv Temple Jhanjhanpur, Shri Shiv Hari Mandir Ramganga Vihar Phase-2, Geeta Gyan Mandir, Radha-Krishna Temple Civil Lines, Ancient Chamunda Temple Samrat Ashok Nagar. Akhand Ramayana is going on in most of the temples. This will be the second occasion after about two and a half months of Diwali, when the city will be illuminated with lamps.
